Healthy, well-maintained trees are an important part of any property, but good pruning takes more than a chainsaw. With more than 10 years of experience working with trees, along with a background in Arboriculture from Paul Smith’s College, Devin brings a knowledgeable and thoughtful approach to every pruning project.
At Branch Out Tree Service, we prune with the long-term health and structure of the tree in mind. Depending on the tree and its location, that may mean removing dead or damaged limbs, correcting structural issues, reducing overgrown growth, or selectively thinning the canopy. We work with the tree’s natural form rather than simply cutting it back, and can begin structural pruning techniques on young trees.
Teton Valley’s trees face heavy snow, strong winds, extreme weather, and a short growing season. Proper pruning can help trees better withstand these conditions while reducing the risk of weak or hazardous branches damaging your home, vehicles, or property.
Our goal is simple: prune with purpose, protect the health of the tree, and leave your property looking better than we found it.

An Arborist's Journey
Devin Richardson began working for a tree service at 15 years old under his family friend, mentor, and boss in upstate New York. He proceeded to graduate with a degree in Arboriculture from Paul Smiths University where he became an ISA certified Arborist. After moving to Teton Valley in 2021, and working a season in Jackson WY for a large scale tree operation, he spent a summer in Southeast Alaska starting his own service, learning what it takes to own a business before settling down in Driggs, Idaho where Branch Out was born. With a decade of experience across New York, Alaska, Wyoming, and Idaho, Devin is skilled in enhancing your green spaces and takes pride in commitment to quality service for our clients across Teton Valley.
